Prof. Dr. Evren Öztaş is specialized in advanced orthodontic treatments and has extensive experience in treating dental and skeletal orthodontic problems in children, adolescents, and adults. He has worked as a full- time associate professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, and currently, he serves as a part-time professor at Istanbul Kent University Faculty of Dentistry.
Utilizing evidence- based approaches and a variety of treatment options such as clear aligners, self- ligating brackets, fixed and removable functional orthopedic appliances, and skeletal anchorage systems, the goal is to achieve the best aesthetic and functional outcomes. Dr. Öztaş also conducts research on correcting skeletal deformities using orthognathic surgery and distraction osteogenesis techniques.
Prof. Dr. Evren Öztaş actively participates in the treatment of syndromic patients, such as those with obstructive sleep apnea and cleft lip and palate. He has attended numerous national and international congresses and symposiums, gaining experience in various specialized clinics and hospitals in the field.
He is currently providing theoretical and clinical education to undergraduate and postgraduate students at Istanbul Kent University Faculty of Dentistry.
